Mr. Mohamed Tawfik is the Chairman of Pacific Agencies & Contractors Corporation (PACC), an Egyptian procurement and contracting firm specializing in strategic imports and government-linked procurement across key sectors. PACC has built a strong reputation for facilitating the supply of critical goods and services—including food products, energy, security solutions, and oil & gas—to public and private sector clients throughout Egypt and the broader MENA region.
Mr. Tawfik has over 27 years of experience in international trade and strategic sourcing. He graduated with honors from the Faculty of Economics & Political Sciences at Cairo University in 1991 and began his career in the credit department of Abu Dhabi Bank. In 1992, he founded MG Foods, S.A.E., a food importing business that grew rapidly and became a major private importer in Egypt during the 1990s. His early work in this sector laid the foundation for PACC’s long-standing relationships with international food suppliers.
Under Mr. Tawfik’s leadership, PACC expanded beyond food imports into other strategic categories, including lumber, oil & gas products such as LPG and diesel, construction materials, security-related equipment, and renewable energy solutions. Through these activities, the company has supported manufacturing, infrastructure, and public-sector projects across Egypt and developed working relationships with a range of government and institutional partners.
Beyond PACC, Mr. Tawfik has remained actively involved in regional business development. In 2005, he co-founded AK for Real Estate Development and AK for Real Estate Marketing & Construction, which focus on large-scale tourism and mixed-use developments along Egypt’s Mediterranean coast. He also serves on the boards of several companies, including Borak Holding and Al Forsan, contributing to strategic planning and long-term growth initiatives.
